Is the extension free to use?
Yes, the "Send to Play Books" extension is completely free and open source.
We believe in accessible tools for better reading experiences.
Do you sell my browsing data?
Absolutely not. We do not collect, store, or sell your
browsing history. The extension processes articles locally on your device and communicates
directly with Google's servers to upload the EPUB. No data passes through St Augustine
Technologies servers.
Why does it need my Google account?
The extension needs permission to upload files to your specific Google Play
Books library. Without this permission, we cannot add the books to your account. We request the
minimum scope necessary (drive.file or similar) to perform this action.
The article didn't convert correctly. What should I do?
Some websites have complex layouts that make text extraction difficult. If
an article fails, try using your browser's "Reader View" first, then click the extension icon.
